The TSI Prime 7th Grade Boys came into the 9th Annual Bluegrass March Madness with one goal in mind: go back-to-back.

But this wasn’t going to be easy…

Coach Bryant Layman—who usually carries the confidence of Dan Hurley into every tournament—knew this one was different. Before tip-off, he called it exactly how it was:

“This one’s a dog fight… a coin flip between three teams.”

And he wasn’t wrong.

With 18 teams in the field and at least six legit contenders, this was one of the most loaded brackets of the year.

Prime wasted no time making noise, taking down a tough Faulkner Elite squad 62-26.
