The 2026 version of the TSI Select 9th Grade Boys came into the season with a fresh look and a chip on their shoulder. After a full roster reconstruction under Coach Donald Conner this past fall, one thing was clear—this group wasn’t just reloaded… they were BUILT DIFFERENT.
🏀 Blue Grass March Madness – Statement Made
The first test of the season? None other than the Blue Grass March Madness in Bowling Green, KY—one of the biggest stages around. And right out of the gate, Select got a shot at redemption against BAB Elite, the same squad that ended their run in last year’s championship game.
💥 Game 1: TSI Select 57 – BAB Elite 39 This wasn’t last year’s team. Select controlled the tempo and pulled away late in a statement win.
Carson James (New Washington) led the charge with 19 points
Quinton Lewis (Southwestern) added 9 points and controlled the game
💪 Game 2: TSI Select 75 – BAB Elite Hardy 37 From the opening tip, this one was all Select. Total domination.
Hank Bohman (Batesville) – 14 points
Keeton Miller (South Ripley) – 12 points
Quinton Lewis – 7 assists (dishing dimes all over the floor)
Jace Wright (Hauser) – 9 rebounds, owning the glass

🔥 Semifinal: TSI Select 48 – BAB Elite 46 A gritty rematch turned into a back-and-forth battle. When it mattered most, Select executed.

🏆 Championship: TSI Select 40 – Vette City Bulls 39 The home team had been rolling all weekend… blowing teams out left and right. But this wasn’t just any team they faced.
This was TSI Select.
In a nail-biter that came down to the final moments, Select showed toughness, composure, and heart.
Graham Elrod (Floyd Central) delivered in the clutch with 15 points, hitting big shot after big shot
Hank Bohman added 9 points
Quinton Lewis chipped in 7 points
