TSI 2031 (Boys) Prime – 7th Grade

Reloaded. Refocused. Ready to Run It Back.

After a jaw-dropping 51-6 spring and summer campaign, the TSI Prime 2031 squad is back — and they’re not just aiming to compete… they’re aiming to dominate.

Last year, this group didn’t just win tournaments — they hunted the highest level of competition they could find and then went right through it. Now, with nearly 100% of their firepower returning, Coach Bryant Layman has the pieces in place for another special run — and this one could end in St. Louis at the World Championships.

The Roster

Ryker Alday – 7th – Silver Creek

Kyson Baker – 7th – Austin

Braxton Cox – 7th – Scottsburg

Izaak Cole-Fox – 7th – Scottsburg

Mason Harvey – 7th – Crothersville

Byron Hough – 7th – Scottsburg

Hudson Jones – 7th – Crothersville

Bryson Layman – 7th – Crothersville

Cam Senn – 7th – Seymour

Kole White – 7th – Austin

The Engine: Possibly the Best 7th Grade Backcourt in the State

It all starts in the backcourt.

Kole White (Austin) is a dynamic combo guard who gets downhill whenever he wants. He attacks the rim with force, finishes through contact, and makes life miserable for opposing guards on the defensive end. He doesn’t just guard you — he pressures you, speeds you up, and takes you out of rhythm.

Then there’s Hudson Jones (Crothersville) — and once he crosses half court, it’s officially scoring time. Jones might be the most explosive scoring guard south of Indianapolis. Deep range. Pull-ups. Tough finishes. He’s a walking bucket and a constant threat.

Together? They set the tone every single night.

Strength in the Paint

While the guards grab headlines, the frontcourt makes sure nobody gets comfortable.

  • Braxton Cox (Scottsburg)

  • Mason Harvey (Crothersville)

  • Kyson Baker (Austin)

This trio brings size, strength, and physicality that overwhelms opposing bigs. They rebound everything, protect the rim, and punish teams inside. When TSI controls the paint, games get out of hand quickly.

Shooters. Playmakers. Defensive Dawgs.

You can’t load up on the stars — because the supporting cast will make you pay.

  • Izaak Cole-Fox & Byron Hough (Scottsburg) are dagger three-point shooters. Help off them? That’s three points. Close out late? Same result.

  • Bryson Layman (Crothersville) is the ultimate playmaker — dynamic with the ball, unselfish, and capable of taking over when needed. He keeps everything flowing.

  • Cam Senn (Seymour) brings toughness and elite defensive intensity. He embraces the grit.

  • Ryker Alday (Silver Creek) — He might be the most underrated defender in the class. valuable piece who adds depth, versatility, and energy to a roster that already comes at you in waves.

The Mission

This group has already proven they can win.

Now the mission is bigger.

Bigger stages. Bigger moments. Bigger targets on their backs.

Coach Layman has a roster loaded with scoring, shooting, size, defense, chemistry, and experience. When you combine elite guard play with physical interior presence and knockdown shooting, you get a formula that travels — no matter the gym, no matter the state.

The rest of the 7th grade world has been warned.

TSI Prime 2031 isn’t just back. They’re coming for everything.
