There’s a new energy surrounding the TSI 2031 Premier squad this year — and it starts at the top.
First-year TSI head coach Brian Money takes the reins of this group, bringing with him a reputation for his detailed player development, and a deep understanding of the game. Coach Money has built his name on helping players elevate their individual skill sets — but now, the spotlight shifts to how he molds this talented roster into a cohesive, competitive unit. And if early impressions are any indication, this team is going to be must-watch basketball all spring and summer.
Built to Compete
This Premier roster isn’t one-dimensional. It’s constructed with balance — shooters, size, toughness, playmaking, and defenders who embrace the gritty side of the game.
🏀 Paint Presence & Interior Toughness
When you talk about controlling the paint, two names immediately stand out:
Alex Salas (Scottsburg) – A physical force inside who embraces contact and sets the tone defensively.
Mason Harvey (Crothersville) – A strong interior presence who can dominate the glass and finish through traffic.
These two give TSI 2031 Premier a foundation in the paint that few teams will want to challenge.
🔒 Two-Way Impact
Eastman Laduke (New Albany) brings high-level production on both ends of the floor. He’s the type of player who can guard, score, and completely shift momentum within a few possessions.
💪 Physical Guards Who Can Fill It Up
Quinn Williams (Silver Creek) and Jack Cavanaugh (Christian Academy) are tough, downhill guards capable of putting points on the board in bunches. They thrive in big moments and aren’t afraid of contact.
🎯 Perimeter Sniper
Cruz Sawyer (Crothersville) is a certified walking bucket from three-point range. Give him space, and it’s usually three points on the board.
🔥 Grit & Winning Mentality
Cooper Doriot (Scottsburg) plays with a physical edge and competitive fire that every successful team needs.
Prater White (Eastern) is the ultimate glue guy — willing to embrace his role and do whatever it takes to help the team succeed.
🎩 The Floor General
Every great team needs someone who makes everyone better — and that’s where Bryson Layman (Crothersville) comes in. A true playmaking point guard, Layman understands timing, spacing, and delivery. He knows when teammates are ready to score and consistently puts them in positions to succeed.
What to Expect
With size inside, shooting on the perimeter, physical guards, and a pass-first point guard orchestrating the offense, TSI 2031 Premier has the pieces to be highly competitive on the grassroots circuit.
The biggest storyline? Watching Coach Money transition from player development to head coach. If he can blend individual development with team chemistry, this group could surprise a lot of people this spring and summer.
One thing is certain — this team won’t lack toughness, talent, or confidence.
Get ready. The TSI 2031 Premier boys are coming.
