TSI Player Spotlight: Cole Gibson - East Washington

Cole Gibson continues to make a serious impact for East Washington Middle School, and in a recent performance was no exception. In a hard-fought 55–44 battle against Crothersville, the 8th-grade wing poured in 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, doing everything he could to keep his team right in the fight.

Cole brings a rare combination of physicality, effort, and competitive fire every time he steps on the floor. Whether it’s attacking the glass, finishing through contact, or hustling for loose balls, Gibson plays the game the right way — with toughness and heart. He’s the kind of player who makes everyone around him better simply by how hard he competes.

What makes Cole even more exciting is that this is just the beginning. As an 8th grader, he’s already showing the tools, mindset, and work ethic that translate to the next level. Eastern High School is getting a player with a bright future — one who’s ready to grow into a leader and a difference-maker.
