Some players light up the scoreboard. Others light up the win column. Ethan Noble does the latter — and Floyd Central is starting to reap the rewards.
The 6’4” sophomore point guard has officially stepped into a varsity starting role, and it didn’t take long for Noble to make his presence felt. In an 89–67 win over North Harrison, Ethan poured in 13 points, showing he can score it when needed. But if you know his game, you know that’s only part of the story.
This past weekend, Noble delivered one of those “winner” performances that coaches and teammates never forget. He finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists, but the headline moment came in the closing seconds — the game-winning bucket to secure a thrilling 45–44 HHC victory over Jennings County. Big moment. Bigger poise.
What truly separates Ethan Noble is his ability to impact the game without needing to score. As a big lead guard, he sees the floor differently. His size allows him to survey defenses, make the right read, and put teammates in positions to succeed. He rebounds like a forward, throws dimes like a banker, and competes on every possession.
That all-around impact has been on display for a while now. This past summer, Noble stacked up multiple triple-doubles, doing what he’s always done best — rebounding, throwing dimes, and making winning plays. He may not always be the leading scorer, but he’s arguably the most valuable piece on the floor.
Ethan Noble is the kind of guard teammates love going to battle with. A throwback. Tough, Unselfish, & ready to go to battle.
Just Google him.
All he does is win~
